WHAT OUR HAPPY CUSTOMERS SAY
"Just bought a pair of these Shan earrings and they are my new fave.. Wearing them every day now.. 😍"
"Friday's work is timeless, individual and has an understated sparkle about it. I just can’t get enough.."
"Friday’s work really is exceptional. I have bought many off the shelf pieces, although to call them such isn’t really fair because all of Friday’s pieces look utterly individual when you wear them."
"I have commissioned Friday to make several bespoke pieces as gifts for loved ones ranging from the ages of 40 to 90 years old. Friday’s ability to take a brief, translate rough ideas into a perfect design and then execute it amazes me. And while it may sound like a cliché she always surprises and delights, no matter what age the recipient of my gift."

So it wasn’t just my dad’s creativity I inherited… massive shout out to my mum too! If I wanted something new, a toy for example, she would say ‘let’s make one’ this delightful dolly is the result of one of those moments. It has been sitting on a very high, dusty and grimy shelf for about 35 years. I think it was my first go at using a sewing machine and not an electric one either it was a beautiful old singer, it’s actually still going! I remember making it so well.. the legs are different sizes and she has a broken neck but still quite the charmer!! 😆@irenelawrence508 #ragdoll

When I started making jewellery lots of people said to me ‘you need to share your story’ ‘people love to know the person, the maker and at first I found the idea of this quite intrusive and thought, why can’t people just buy what I make, why do they need to know about me? Then over the many years I have been using social media to advertise what I do and now studying at university I have come to understand the importance of ‘knowing the artist…’ it can give the buyer a much more meaningful piece of jewellery or art, not just because they love the piece of jewellery but because they understand the meaning and reason behind a piece from the makers point of view. It’s not just jewellery that I make there is so much more to it.. these photos are of the farriers trug that my Dad, Sim used when he was working as a farrier. It is a long time ago now but seeing and handling all the tools again made me realise it all comes from this set of tools and these very horseshoe very nails that I would sit and play with as a child while my dad was working. My Farrier collection will be forever so much more special to me now and I will always continue it. #deaddadsclub #farrier #horseshoenail #silverhorseshoenailjewellery ewellery #slightleworriedihavebecomesentimental!

A great day teaching in Bristol at the workshop of @alicegoldsack it was an one day all day class, the students were ambitious and worked really hard to produce this lot of creative jewellery! They were a lovely bunch! If you are interested in learning head over to alicegoldsack.com to book in a day class or 12 week course.
